Better? Yes. Perfect? Not yet.

We all have areas we want to grow in. Either it is something we want to start doing or something we want to stop doing. As difficult as it may seem to find the motivation to start something, getting rid of a habit or a particular mindset can even be more difficult. The thing about progress is that it is usually slow and steady  - at times so slow that it seems like we're not progressing at all. Well, the good news is, the fact that you are aware that something has to change in your life means that the process and progress have already commenced.

If you find yourself wondering why you're still not there yet, here are some words of encouragement: "The righteous will flourish like palm trees; they will grow like the cedars of Lebanon. They are like trees planted in the house of the LORD, that flourish in the Temple of our God, that still bear fruit in old age and are always green and strong." Psalms 92:12‭-‬14 GNB This bible verse signifies that if you're on the right track, you will surely flourish in the end. Don't look at the setbacks but focus on the milestones. In the end what will matter is not how many times you fell but how many times you got up again and kept trying. There will always be someone who will try to point out the negative, but it's up to you to manifest the positive.

Your goal should not be being perfect because it is unrealistic and will only leave you discouraged and frustrated. God has made us perfect, so it is your job to keep walking with Him and according to His word. It doesn't matter if your progress may seem invisible to others at the moment, keep pushing towards the goal and never give up. Once those who were doubting you also realize that you've come a long way, by then, you will have overtaken them by far.
