It's Now or Never!

Have you ever felt the urgency to do something? Like if you didn't do it at this very moment you'll forever miss the chance to get it done? Or do you take the "I'll do it later"-approach most of the time? Well, there are some things that really cannot wait because you might not have a "later" to do them. I've gotten to a stage in my life where the later has become now. Not necessarily in this split second but at least as soon as possible - rather sooner than later. We all have responsibilities and things to do. I'm a wife and a mom, so it's easy to get preoccupied with daily activities while other things just have to wait until later.

What the past year has taught me is that setting your priorities straight matters now more than ever before. What are you focused on? Where do you put your attention? Which things rank the highest on your priorities list? Fear, confusion, and for some even despair was the overall theme of their 2020 experience. That wasn't my experience at all and hopefully not yours either. The greatest takeaway was that truly there's only one place of security and peace and that is in Jesus Christ! No mask or time spent hiding in your house can give the same assurance that our Lord Jesus Christ can. The Bible says that we should fix our gaze on things above and how true that is! "So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal." 2 Corinthians 4:18 NIV

Did watching the news offer you any comfort? Did reading through online posts give you security? No. Only the word of God and the knowledge that we are truly protected by God can provide that.

Now that we've entered 2021, what will you focus on? Go back to "normal" and to the way things were before? Things have changed around the world and hopefully you have too. Now is the time break free of any shackles that kept you from tapping into your greatness and who God created you to be. Be encouraged to put your trust in Jesus Christ, to build your relationship with Him, and to prepare yourself for the things ahead. Many were caught by surprise by last year's events, to the extent that their lives will forever be affected. What if you could live a life that can never be shaken? Sounds too good to be true? It doesn't have to! "Do not be afraid — I am with you! I am your God — let nothing terrify you! I will make you strong and help you; I will protect you and save you." Isaiah 41:10 GNB

Happy New Year and welcome to a year of preparation, a year of tapping into your greatness and standing stronger and taller than ever before!
