"The Process" is the best teacher

Instant success! You have an idea, roughly map out how you want that idea to come to life, make a few phone calls and "boom" you find yourself on the cover of Forbes magazine as one of the world's most successful entrepreneurs of our time. A walk in the park. A piece of cake. Easier than learning how to play a new instrument. Others have done it so why can't you, right? Unfortunately, it is not that easy.

Today, when we look at wealthy people, we see their success, the glamor, the lavish lifestyle and the fame. What we tend to ignore is that it was a journey for each and every one of those people to get to where they are today. And that journey and process were necessary. Of course, nobody would voluntarily want to endure the process of disappointments, growing pains, perseverance, patience, and unwavering faith. But those things that they endured during the process are the things that will inspire them to not only stay in their success but to even aim higher. "Make sure that your endurance carries you all the way without failing, so that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing." James 1:4 GNB

"Once I am successful things will get easier." that is the mantra many of us go by to keep pushing forward and towards the goal but where do you think the saying: "It gets lonely at the top." comes from? The truth is, things won't get easier, just different. It will require another set of skills, mental strength and ability to sustain yourself when you're at the helm of success. Every decision you make will have greater impact and you will have to watch your steps and your environment even more closely.

What that means, in a nutshell, is that as much as it can be draining and tiring to build your way to success step by step, it is necessary to also build your personality and thoughts alongside with it. Going through "the process" will teach you valuable lessons that will give you the wisdom and insight you will require to succeed longterm.
